Welcome to Sussex Inlet River Dragons

We are a community based sporting and social club that fosters the inclusive Inlet community spirit.

The sport of Dragon Boating is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia.

Sussex Inlet River Dragons club is proud to be able to offer involvement in this great sport, where you can see our pristine waterway the way it should be - from a dragonboat, and in great company. Minimum age is 14 years - no upper age limit. All levels of fitness are accommodated. "Come and Try" paddling days available before joining the club. Membership of our club encompasses fun, fitness and social activities - with many social events organised throughout the year.

Our Paddling times are:-

Summer Tues & Thur - 3:30pm (4:00pm on the water)

Winter Tues 2:30pm (3:00pm on the water)

Saturday (all year) - 8:30am (9:00am on the water)

Each training session runs for 1 hour.

We meet at the SIRD Boatshed - RSL BBQ Area, Gordon St Sussex Inlet.
