Santa Paddle 2024

Location: Lakehaven Reserve in front of Bowling Club 
Finish at Swordfish Brewing

The Santa Paddle is managed by Sussex Inlet Stand Up Paddle supported by Sussex Inlet Chamber of Commerce and Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue.

Santa Paddle raises funds for Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue to help cover their running costs.

Participants must register for event, you can register and pay online here. If booking for multiple people enter all attendee names when booking. 

Santa  Paddle face to face Registration will also be available on Friday 13 December from 4:30pm to 6pm at Swordfish Brewing, come and enjoy Santa Paddle Happy Hour and register. 

There will be minimal last minute registrations available on the day of Santa Paddle from 10:30am - 11.30am at Lakehaven Reserve in front of Bowling Club. 

Registration fee includes a sausage sandwich and a cold drink after the completion of Santa Paddle.

• 1 Adult and 2 children - $35

Depending on tides and wind the event start location may vary and all registered participants will be contacted prior to the event with the start location. Paddlers leave at 12noon and finish at Ellmoos Reserve in front of Swordfish Brewing by 1:30pm

• Sausage Sizzle provided by Marine Rescue from 12:30pm - 2pm
• Bring a picnic blanket or chair
• Have your photo taken with “Paddle” Santa at the photo booth for $5
• A feature of Santa Paddle 2024 will be 'Santa Paddle Relay Teams' and a 'Santa Paddle Board Jousting Event'
• Enjoy lunch on the Swordfish deck or buy a sausage sandwich 
• Ice cream van also on site to tempt your taste buds
• Park your car at Swordfish and use the Santa paddle courtesy bus leaving from Swordfish carpark from 10:30am every 15 mins until 11:45am
• Transport for paddle boards also available
• Ensure your phone and personal belongings are in waterproof bags 
• Marine Rescue will be providing a safety escort for the Santa Paddle
• Life jackets must be worn by children under 10
